This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices you have. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a free site visit or an online estimate, fill in a contact form, call us, or email us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, the property or community you represent, the location of the shoreline, and the details of your project or question.

With a form we also store the page it was sent from. If you reached the site through one of our advertisements or emails, we store the campaign tags and the click identifier from that link with your inquiry, so we can see which of them lead to inquiries. Your browser keeps them for up to 90 days, so that they still reach us if you come back later.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and content delivery network automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the website that referred you. This information is used to keep the site secure and working properly.

We also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule a site visit, and prepare a proposal.
• To communicate with you about your project, including by phone, email, or text message where you have given us your number.
• To manage our customer relationships and keep records of our work.

Cookies and analytics

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): collects usage statistics such as pages viewed and approximate location. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
• PostHog: collects usage statistics such as pages viewed and actions taken on the site, for example starting or sending a form or clicking our phone number. PostHog also records how visitors move through our pages (session recording), so we can see where the site is unclear. Anything you type into our forms is hidden in these recordings.
• Google Ads conversion measurement (Google LLC): when you reach the site from one of our Google advertisements and then send a form or call us, Google Ads records that as a conversion.

Service providers we share information with

We share personal information only with providers that help us run the website and our business, and only for the purposes described above:

• Zoho Corporation (Zoho CRM): stores inquiries submitted through our website forms so we can respond to you and manage your project. Zoho’s privacy policy: zoho.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare: hosts the website and delivers its content, receives the inquiries sent through our forms and keeps a copy of them, and processes server logs for security.
• Google LLC: analytics and advertising conversion measurement as described above.
• PostHog: analytics as described above.
• Email and telephone providers we use to communicate with you.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. We do not share your information with other parties for their own marketing.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we send customer care-related and one-on-one communication messages about your inquiry or project. Message frequency may vary. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Our site links to other websites, for example the privacy policies of the providers named above. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing any information.

How long we keep your information

We keep inquiry and project information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, accounting, and contractor licensing obligations, which in Florida can be several years after a project is completed. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of each analytics tool (in Google Analytics currently 14 months). Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS and hosted on Cloudflare. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal or business-record purposes.
• You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by replying to the email or contacting us.
• You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses, associations, and property owners. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
