What is Shoreflex®?
ShoreFlex® is a high-strength geogrid encapsulated in a matrix of 5,000 psi concrete blocks designed for long-term erosion protection. It is ideal for channel side slopes, shorelines, spillways, pipe inlets and outlets, and other high-energy hydraulic applications.
Each mat consists of 5,000 psi concrete blocks (approx. 6.5" x 6.5" x 2.5") spaced about 1.5" apart and integrated with an erosion control blanket or high-performance turf reinforcement mat. This combination helps provide stability, seed and soil retention, and durability in demanding conditions.
ShoreFlex® is available in standard sizes as well as custom dimensions to match specific site requirements. Mats are delivered in large rolls for efficient transport and quick installation, typically using only light construction equipment.
